The Lainey Bug Foundation was established in memory of 1 year-old, Lainey Schmelzle, and her courageous battle with ATRT. While her parents, Drew and Kassey, spent their days by Lainey's side, their community came together to raise funds to support their needs during such a difficult time. After Lainey's passing, Drew and Kassey decided to dedicate those remaining funds to establish the Lainey Bug Foundation as a way to bless other families facing the unthinkable.
